This is a follow up to my October 22 email concerning the consent judgment Qwest
entered into with the SEC concerning the lawsuit the agency filed against the
company. I have forwarded herewith the response I received to my inquiry about
when, where and how the claims process will begin.
I am told that at this time, details of the distribution of funds to
investors (e.g., date distribution will begin, procedure to file a claim, etc.)
have not been finalized.

Subject: SEC vs QWEST COMMUNICATIONS
Dear Mr. Kennedy:
Thank you for your inquiry requesting further details about the settlement in
the SEC's action against Qwest.
At this time, details of the distribution of funds to investors (e.g., date
distribution will begin, procedure to file a claim, etc.) have not been
finalized.
Qwest is required to prepare a plan of distribution for these funds and submit
it to the Commission for approval. When a plan is approved, the details of the
plan will be available through the SEC website (www.sec.gov) and presumably on
Qwest's website. In addition, Qwest is expected to notify all investors
eligible for compensation.

you may direct them to me at ericksonr@sec.gov.
